Accountants · hosting and care

Website hosting for accountants, kept current before tax season.

A firm's public site has to be up and accurate when clients look for deadlines, services and how to reach you. Managed hosting from $99 a month covers that. Client documents stay in the portal you already use.

Tax season is when the site gets the most visits and the least attention. A broken contact form or an expired certificate in March costs inquiries you won't get back until next year.

From $99/mo. Essentials is $99, Business $249, Priority $499. Cancel any time. Extra time is $125/hour.

What firms run into

Seasonal pages go stale

Deadlines, document checklists and office hours change every year. Last year's version stays up because nobody has time to edit it.

A security warning on the homepage

An expired certificate or a 'Not secure' warning is the last thing a client wants to see before sending financial details.

Nobody owns the site

The partner who set it up left, the designer moved on, and the logins live in someone's old email.

What the plan covers

  1. Part 1

    The public site

Hosting, SSL, updates, daily backups and uptime monitoring around the clock.

  2. Part 2

    Edits before deadlines

Hours, checklists, a new service page section. Essentials includes 30 minutes a month; Business includes an hour, and Priority three.

  3. Part 3

A clear line around client files

The public site links to your portal. Tax documents and client data stay in the portal, not in a website form.

Who this fits

Solo accountants, bookkeepers and small CPA firms with a brochure site and a separate client portal.

Questions

Can you update deadlines and checklists every season?

Yes, by email. Each change uses the plan's monthly time. A larger seasonal refresh past that is $125 an hour, and I ask first.

Can you host our client portal?

No. Keep the portal with the product you use. This plan cares for the public website and keeps the link to the portal working.

What does it cost?

Essentials is $99 a month, Business $249, Priority $499. Hosting, SSL, backups, updates and monitoring are included. Cancel any time.
