The Balance page already has the split. Available is what Stripe can send to the bank. Pending is a charge that landed and has not settled. Owners still log in just to read those two lines.

Short answer: Stripe available balance from Grok is the amount Stripe can pay out today, set next to what is still pending. AI Front Door Look Up is $3,500 once. You own the connection. I do not add a subscription. The same setup works in Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI apps that support MCP connectors. It does not send the payout, and it does not post the deposit in QuickBooks.

MCP is the open standard those apps use to connect to a business’s tools. One connection to the Stripe account you already have. Not a second set of books.

What is Stripe available balance from Grok?

Stripe available balance from Grok is the available amount Stripe can pay out now, next to the pending amount that has not settled. Stripe stays the record. Look Up reads those two numbers from the app you already have open. It does not send the payout.

Pending has not settled, so a normal payout cannot take it. Available is what you can pay out, refund, or transfer (Stripe). Stripe’s US example is a $100 card payment on Monday: pending that day, available Wednesday, two business days later. ACH Debit on that page is 4 business days.

Standard US online cards are 2.9% + 30¢ per successful charge (Stripe). On that $100 the fee is $3.20, so $96.80 moves. A custom rate replaces the published one.

The payout schedule does not shorten settlement. It only decides when Stripe sends money that is already available, and a normal payout has no send fee (Stripe). The first live payout is the exception: Stripe typically finishes it in 7 to 14 days. Instant Payouts can move eligible card funds sooner, usually within 30 minutes, and Stripe charges a fee. In the US one Instant Payout is $0.50 to $9,999 (Stripe). Look Up does not request one.

A pasted screenshot in a chat bot is a different product. The fork is MCP vs chat bots.

Questions this should answer once it is live:

  • “How much can Stripe pay out today?”
  • “What is still pending, in which currency?”
  • “On a Monday card charge, when does Stripe’s example say the money is available?”
  • “Is available negative, or is there a second currency sitting next to USD?”
  • “Tell me the two numbers. Do not send a payout.”

What does Stripe available balance from Grok cost?

Look Up is $3,500 once for that read. You own the connection. I do not add a subscription. Opening the Balance page is free. Stripe also publishes an MCP server you can connect yourself. Pay me when you want the questions scoped and the key limited to reads.

Spread across 24 months, $3,500 is about $146 a month. Across 36 months, about $97.

What is included, and what is not?

Included is one Stripe account, live mode, available and pending by currency. Not included: creating a payout, an Instant Payout, the QuickBooks deposit, a failed-charge list, or a new checkout. A second account is a second quote. Card fees stay Stripe’s.

Stripe returns cents on the account the key belongs to (Stripe). I report dollars. On Connect, the platform and each connected account keep separate balances (Stripe). Name which one.

Not in the $3,500: a payout, an Instant Payout, a schedule or bank change, disputes, refunds, or Stripe Capital. The failed-charge list is a separate Look Up: Stripe failed payments from Grok. A security review of the payment app is $2,400 per app, $1,200 to start.

How does the balance question run?

The path is one question, one read of the balance Stripe already stores, and a stop when the number is negative, in a second currency, or when you ask to send the money. Stripe stays the record. The chat does not.

  1. Trigger. You ask how much Stripe can pay out today, and what is still pending.
  2. Action. Read the balance. Report available and pending in dollars, by currency. Do not create a payout.
  3. System of record. Stripe. The chat is not a second balance.
  4. Human escalation. Available is negative. A second currency shows up and you did not name it. You ask to send the money, including an Instant Payout. The account is still inside the first-payout window and available is zero for that reason.

The job runs in Stripe, not inside one chat app. Grok, Claude, and ChatGPT are three doors to the same read. Stripe’s MCP server can GET the balance if you connect it and approve the call (Stripe). I do not hand the crew a secret key with write turned on.

When this isn’t the right move yet

Do not buy this if you already open Balance every morning and you are the only person asking. Do not buy it to post the deposit in QuickBooks, to call failed cards, or to move the money. Those are different jobs.

Skip it when you already open Balance and nobody else asks, or when you will connect Stripe’s MCP yourself. $0 stays under $3,500 at 24 and 36 months.

Skip it when the leak is the QuickBooks deposit. That is Workflow Automation, $3,500 once, live in 7 to 10 days. Invoice chase is that offer, not a booking from an AI app. A failed-card call list is the other Look Up. Sending the money is Desk. A connector will not release a first payout still inside the 7 to 14 day window.

Which balance question should you buy first?

Start with the two numbers on one account. Add a payout from chat only after the read is right. The books come later, as their own job. A Monday card charge is still pending until Stripe’s settlement date, even if the dashboard feels late.

WriteNone”Send whatever is available”

If those two numbers are what you or the office still open the dashboard for, send the account and the questions through the short audit form. I reply with the replacement map within 24 hours. Look Up is $3,500 once when that map is the read and nothing else. If you would rather talk through the workflow and whether it fits, book a 20-minute call.

FAQ

How much is Stripe available balance from Grok? +

Look Up is $3,500 once for a read of what Stripe can pay out today and what is still pending, by currency. You own the connection. I do not add a subscription. Desk is $7,500 once if the chat should create the payout. Floor is $14,000 once when the office shares the question.

Does pending mean Stripe will not pay me? +

Pending is money a charge already earned that has not settled. You cannot pay it out on a normal payout until it is available. A Monday card payment in the US is Stripe's own example: pending that day, available Wednesday, two business days later. Your payout schedule does not shorten that wait.

Is this the same as posting the payout in QuickBooks? +

No. The balance question reads Stripe. Copying that payout into QuickBooks is Workflow Automation at $3,500 once, live in 7 to 10 days. The failed-charge call list is a different Look Up at the same $3,500. Look Up does not send the payout and does not write the deposit.

What is not included for $3,500? +

Not the payout, not an Instant Payout, not the QuickBooks deposit, and not a new checkout. Stripe stays your account and your card fees. A second Stripe account is a second quote. A review of the payment app itself is $2,400 per app, $1,200 to start. That is a different offer.
