Managed WordPress hosting, without the control-panel chores.
Regular WordPress hosting rents you space and leaves updates, backups, security and fixes to you. Our plans host the site and do that work: core, plugin and theme updates, daily backups, monitoring, and changes by email.
What unmanaged hosting leaves to you
- A dashboard full of update notices you are afraid to click.
- A host that sells you space, then charges extra for backups, SSL help or a cleanup.
- A slow admin, PHP warnings, or a plugin conflict nobody owns.
- Nobody to email when the contact form stops sending.
What managed means here
Hosting, handled
Your WordPress site hosted and looked after, with SSL on your domain. No server logins or control panels for you to manage.
Updates, tested first on Business
Core, plugin and theme updates applied for you. On Business and Priority they are tried on a staging copy before they go live.
Backups and security
Daily backups stored separately from the site, locked-down logins, firewall rules and safe defaults from day one.
Changes by email
Send requests to michael@michaelheredia.com. Each plan includes monthly time for small changes, then $125/hr, and we ask before going over.
Which plan fits
Business ($249/mo) is the usual fit for a WordPress site that brings in work: staging-tested updates, malware cleanup included and 1 hour of changes. Essentials ($99/mo) covers a simple site that rarely changes.
For a site that needs to stay up, safe and current.
For a site that brings in business and can't afford a bad update.
For a site you can't have down.
Billed monthly through Stripe. Cancel any time.
Questions
- What is the difference between WordPress hosting and managed WordPress hosting?
- WordPress hosting is space on a server that can run WordPress. Managed hosting adds the work: updates, backups, security, monitoring and someone to email when something breaks. Our plans are managed, and the hosting itself is included.
- Do I have to move my WordPress site to you?
- No. Most clients let us host it, and moving one standard site is included. If you would rather keep your current host, we look after the site there instead. Same plans, same price.
- Can I still edit pages myself?
- Yes. It is your site and you keep full access. Most clients just email changes, but nothing stops you logging in.
- Is there a contract?
- No. Plans are billed monthly through Stripe and you can cancel any time. Before the last paid month ends you get a full copy of the site and help pointing your domain elsewhere.
