SSL included · kept current

Your website says 'Not secure'. Here's what that means and how it gets fixed.

That warning in the address bar tells visitors the connection isn't protected, and many leave before the page loads. It usually means the SSL certificate is missing, expired, or only covers part of the site. Every plan includes SSL on your domain, set up and kept current for you.

What you're seeing

What we take care of

SSL on your domain

A certificate on your domain, set up by us, included in every plan.

Kept current

Renewals happen in the background, so the warning doesn't come back next year.

Every version of the address

With and without www, and old http:// links sent to the secure version.

Monitoring

Uptime and security monitoring around the clock, plus fixes when something breaks.

Which plan fits

Essentials ($99/mo) covers SSL, hosting, daily backups, updates and monitoring for a site that rarely changes. If the site brings in work and you want updates tested on a staging copy first, Business ($249/mo) is the usual fit.

Billed monthly through Stripe. Cancel any time.

Questions

Why does my website say not secure?
Usually the SSL certificate is missing, expired, or doesn't cover the version of the address the visitor typed. Pages that still load images or scripts over http:// can also trigger it.
Is SSL included?
Yes. Hosting and SSL on your domain are included in every plan, set up and kept current for you.
Will fixing it change my site?
No. The content stays the same. Only the connection becomes secure, and old http:// links are sent to the secure version.
What does it cost?
Plans start at $99 a month, cancel any time. Moving one standard site is included, or we look after it on your current host.
