Move your website without it going dark.
We copy your site from your current host, test it on the new one, and switch your domain over at a quiet time. You don't touch a server, and your visitors don't notice the move.
Why people move
- Support means tickets and phone trees, and they won't touch the site itself.
- You pay for hosting, a maintenance retainer and a developer's hours, and still nobody owns the site.
- The site is slow or keeps going down, and you hear about it from customers.
- You've wanted to leave for a year but you're afraid the site will break in the move.
How the move works
1. We copy it
Pages, images, content and settings are copied from your current host. You send us access once; we handle the rest.
2. We test it
The copy runs on the new hosting first, so we check pages, forms and SSL before anything changes for visitors.
3. We switch the domain
When everything checks out, we point your domain at the new site at a quiet time.
4. You email changes
From then on, updates, backups and fixes are ours. Send changes to michael@michaelheredia.com.
Which plan fits
Moving one standard site is included on every plan, starting at Essentials ($99/mo). Large online stores and custom apps get a fixed quote before we start, so there are no surprises.
For a site that needs to stay up, safe and current.
For a site that brings in business and can't afford a bad update.
For a site you can't have down.
Billed monthly through Stripe. Cancel any time.
Questions
- Will my site go down during the move?
- It shouldn't. The new copy is built and tested while your current site stays live, and the domain only switches once it checks out.
- Do I keep my domain?
- Yes. You keep full ownership of your domain and content. We only point the domain at the new hosting.
- What does the move cost?
- Moving one standard site is included in your plan. Large online stores or custom apps get a fixed quote first.
- What if I want to leave later?
- Cancel any time. Before your last paid month ends you get a full copy of the site and help pointing your domain to a new host.
