Housecall Pro already marks invoices that missed their due date. Past Due is not “over 30 days.” The question is whether you still open that list, or ask it from Claude.
Short answer: Housecall Pro unpaid invoices from Claude means you ask which invoices are unpaid past 30 days and get that list back, with Housecall Pro still the record. AI Front Door Look Up is $3,500 once. You own the connection. I do not add a subscription, and I do not send the reminder. The same setup works in ChatGPT, Grok, and other AI apps that support MCP connectors. If you already open Past Due every morning and you are the only person asking, do not buy.
MCP is the open standard those apps use to connect to a business’s tools. One connection to Housecall Pro. Not a second set of invoices.
What are Housecall Pro unpaid invoices from Claude?
Housecall Pro unpaid invoices from Claude are a read of invoices the list already marks Past Due, then cut to the days-past-due groups you wrote down as over 30. Housecall Pro stays the record. The chat does not.
The invoice list is under Invoices. Open is an outstanding amount, including a partial. Paid is fully paid. Pending has not hit the bank yet. Past Due means not paid by the due date, so a one-day-late invoice is already on it (Housecall Pro). The older Open Invoices card requires the job finished and the invoice sent (Housecall Pro). I match the screen you use.
Aging, under Reporting then Invoices, groups past-due invoices by days past due, defaulting to created date over the last 365 days (Housecall Pro). The help page does not name the buckets. “Over 30” is written against your report before I wire it. Sent versus never sent is a separate split on that report.
A chat bot that pastes yesterday’s export is a different product. The fork is MCP vs chat bots.
Questions this should answer once it is live:
- “Who owes me money over 30 days in Housecall Pro?”
- “Which Past Due invoices are only a day or two late?”
- “Which of those were sent, and which were never sent?”
- “What is still due for Mrs. Lopez, not the original total?”
How much do Housecall Pro unpaid invoices from Claude cost?
Look Up is $3,500 once for one system, read-only. Desk is $7,500 once if a customer should see only their balance. Floor is $14,000 once when the office shares it. Thirty-six months later my bill is still $3,500. Your Housecall Pro subscription stays yours.
| Past Due, by hand | Invoice reminders | AI Front Door Look Up | |
|---|---|---|---|

| Sends the reminder | You click | Yes, when the toggle is on | No. That is a different job |
| Price to me | $0 | $0. It is inside the plan | $3,500 once |
| 36 months to me | $0 | $0 | $3,500 |
Housecall Pro’s pricing page leads with plans from $59 a month. Thirty-six months at that rate is $2,124. That is Housecall Pro, not this question. MAX is $299 a month billed annually, $329 month to month, and $35 a month per user past eight. Thirty-six months at $299 is $10,764. The public API is on MAX. Basic and Essentials have no key.
Reminders sit under Settings, Notifications, Customer, Invoices: every day through every 30 days, up to 10 sends, after the due date, and only if the job is finished, the invoice was sent, and a balance remains. They stop at Paid. Due upon receipt treats the send day as the due date. Batch and auto invoices are excluded (Housecall Pro).
What does the unpaid Housecall Pro question look like?
The trigger is an owner or the office asking who is past 30. The action is a read of Past Due, cut to the aging groups you marked. Housecall Pro is the record. A reminder, a mark-paid, or a card charge waits for a person.
- Trigger. “Who owes me money over 30 days?” The same sentence works from ChatGPT or Grok.
- Action. Read Past Due, drop the short aging groups, and return customer, invoice, due date, sent or unsent, and the amount due. Week one sits next to the list.
- System of record. Housecall Pro. Not the chat.
- Human escalation. Mark paid, a dispute, a void, or anything that sends money or a reminder.
An Admin creates the key under My Apps, All Apps, API Key Management, as Read-only. Office staff cannot. The key reaches the account data, and not every feature has a call (Housecall Pro). I do not want it pasted into a chat. If the invoice call lacks the due amount, I stop.
A chase outside that cadence is Workflow Automation: $3,500 once, live in 7 to 10 days. Booking from the thread is book Housecall Pro from ChatGPT, Desk at $7,500, and the same setup works in Claude and Grok. Retyping into QuickBooks is Housecall Pro invoice to QuickBooks.
What would I turn on first?
Start read-only, and only the past-30 list. Do not turn on send, mark paid, or collect payment. If you already open Past Due and the names match what you would have asked, stop there and do not pay for a second copy.
Before I take it: the account is on MAX, an Admin has a Read-only key that is not pasted into Claude, “past 30” is written against the Aging groups, one morning matches including partials, and sends stay off.
First lane: “Who is past 30, what is still due, and which sent invoice is the oldest?” After ten mornings that match the report, I stop.
When this isn’t the right move yet
Skip it if you already read Past Due yourself, if “past 30” is still a feeling, or if the leak is the reminder, the booking, or the phone. A read-only key on the wrong plan does not exist.
Open the filter yourself if you are the only person asking. $0. Write the aging groups down before you call a one-day-late invoice “over 30.” Turn Housecall Pro’s reminders on before you pay me to notice the same email. Batch and auto invoices are skipped by those reminders. Basic and Essentials have no API key until MAX. Booking from the thread is Desk at $7,500. After-hours rings are the receptionist at $8,000 once, demo +1 (832) 861-0469, on the AI Receptionist page. If QuickBooks is the ledger you trust, ask that file.
What is not included in the $3,500?
The $3,500 does not include the reminder, a card charge, the MAX upgrade, the phone line, a bookkeeper, or a security review. Look Up is one system, read-only. Housecall Pro’s subscription stays on your bill.
Desk is $7,500 once for a customer who may see only their own balance. Floor is $14,000 once when the office shares the doorway. A web app security review is $2,400, and $1,200 starts it. That is not this list.
Name who may ask, and which writes stay off. Send the audit. It is a short form. I reply with the replacement map within 24 hours. Look Up is $3,500 once if the past-30 list is the whole job. If you would rather talk through the workflow and whether it fits, book a 20-minute call.
