Jobber already has today on Home and on the day view. The horizontal board puts unassigned in its own row. The question is whether you still open that screen, or ask it from Copilot.

Short answer: Today’s Jobber schedule from Copilot means you ask which visits are on today and who is assigned, and Jobber stays the record. AI Front Door Look Up is $3,500 once. You own the connection. I do not add a subscription. The same setup works in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and other AI apps that support MCP connectors. If you already open today’s board and you are the only person asking, do not buy.

MCP is the open standard those apps use to connect to a business’s tools. One connection to Jobber. Not a second dispatch board, and not the phone.

What is today’s Jobber schedule from Copilot?

Today’s Jobber schedule from Copilot is a read of visits, assessments, and tasks whose date is the shop’s current calendar day, with the assigned name or an unassigned flag. Jobber stays the record. The chat does not. Look Up is that question from the app you already have open.

Jobber’s Home help, updated February 5, 2026, says today’s appointments include visits, assessments, and tasks, grouped by the assigned team member (Jobber). Overdue means the end time passed and nobody marked it complete. Active means now sits inside the window. Remaining includes anytime visits: a date, no start time. Completed means someone marked it done.

The day view article, updated July 6, 2026, shows a single day (Jobber). On the horizontal layout, names and unassigned sit in a left column. That article says the new schedule is still a try-before-rollout. If your shop has not turned it on, I match the columns you actually use before I wire “today.”

A pasted export is a different product. The fork is MCP vs chat bots.

Questions this should answer:

  • “What jobs are on today and who is on them?”
  • “Which visits today are still unassigned?”
  • “What is on Maria’s board this afternoon?”
  • “Is the Lopez visit still on for 2, and who is assigned?”

How much does today’s Jobber schedule from Copilot cost?

Look Up is $3,500 once for one system, read-only. Desk is $7,500 once if a customer should book. Floor is $14,000 once when the office shares the doorway. Thirty-six months later my bill is still $3,500. Your Jobber subscription stays yours.

The $3,500 is my build, once. It does not replace the Jobber subscription you already pay.

Microsoft’s federated connectors fetch live data with MCP and do not index it into Microsoft 365 (Microsoft). The gallery lists HubSpot, Xero, and Google Calendar. Jobber is not on it. Copilot reaches your board only after an admin registers the connector. Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok use that same server without that admin step.

Desk is a customer booking from the thread. That write is book Jobber from ChatGPT, not this list. Microsoft says writes begin rolling out in early October 2026 and need the user’s approval. I will not promise a booking inside Copilot until that tenant’s write tools are live.

A text that goes out at 6 a.m. with nobody asking is Workflow Automation, $3,500 once, live in 7 to 10 days. Look Up waits for the question. Who owes you is Jobber unpaid invoices from Grok. Missed calls are the receptionist at $8,000 once.

What does the today question look like?

The trigger is an owner or a CSR asking what is on today and who is on it. The action is a read of the shop’s calendar date. Jobber is the record. A reassign, a new booking, or a day-sheet send waits for a person.

  1. Trigger. “What jobs are on today and who is on them?” The same sentence works from Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok.
  2. Action. Read visits, assessments, and tasks on the shop’s current calendar day. Return client, window or anytime, assigned names, and unassigned. Week one, I set the draft next to Home and the day view.
  3. System of record. Jobber. Not the chat, and not a photo of the board.
  4. Human escalation. Drag a visit onto a technician, book a job, send a day sheet, or cancel.

“Today” is the shop’s calendar date, written down before I wire it. A UTC cutoff drops the last jobs of the evening or pulls in tomorrow morning.

What would I turn on first?

Start read-only, and only today’s appointments plus who is assigned. Do not turn on assign, reschedule, book, or a live truck pin. If you already click Today and the names match, stop there and do not pay for a second copy.

Checklist before I take the build:

  • An admin connects Jobber. I do not want a password pasted into a chat.
  • “Today” is the shop’s calendar date. People who may ask are named. Assign, book, and day-sheet send stay off.
  • One morning, the list matches Home and the day view, including unassigned and anytime.
  • If Copilot is the room, a Microsoft 365 admin has registered the connector.

First lane: “What is on today, who is on each visit, and which have nobody?” After ten mornings where the list matches the board, I stop.

When this isn’t the right move yet

Skip it if you already open today’s board yourself, if “today” is still a feeling, or if the leak is the drag onto a technician, the 6 a.m. text, or the phone. A second login on a messy board copies the wrong day.

Wait if:

  • You are the only person asking, and the day view takes a minute. Open it. $0.
  • You already email day sheets and the crew follows them.
  • The new schedule is still off, and nobody has checked that “today” means the same columns.
  • The miss is a technician who was never assigned. The list will not drag the visit.
  • You want the board texted at 6 a.m. with nobody asking. That is Workflow Automation.
  • A customer should book Thursday from the thread. That is Desk at $7,500.
  • After-hours rings are the leak. That is the receptionist.
  • You want a live dot for the truck. Jobber’s day-view map shows GPS waypoints only on today’s date. That pin is not this question.

What is not included in the $3,500?

The $3,500 does not include a new booking, a technician reassignment, a day-sheet email, live GPS, the phone line, or a security review. Look Up is one system, read-only. Jobber’s subscription stays on your bill.

Name who may ask, which crews count, and which writes stay off. Send the audit. It is a short form. I reply with the replacement map within 24 hours. Look Up is $3,500 once if today’s board is the whole job. If you would rather talk through the workflow and whether it fits, book a 20-minute call.

FAQ

How much is today's Jobber schedule from Copilot? +

Look Up is $3,500 once for a read of today's visits, who is assigned, and which are unassigned. You own it. I do not add a subscription. Desk is $7,500 once if a customer should book. Floor is $14,000 once when the office shares it. Dragging a visit onto a tech is not in the $3,500.

Does Jobber already show today's schedule? +

Yes. Home lists today's appointments by employee, including overdue, active, remaining, and completed. The horizontal day view is one day and includes an unassigned row. If you already open that view and you are the only person asking, do not buy a second copy of the board.

Is Jobber already a Copilot connector? +

No. Microsoft's federated gallery includes HubSpot, Xero, and Google Calendar. Jobber is not on that list. An admin registers a custom connector in the Microsoft 365 admin center. The same server answers Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok. Copilot does not get its own Jobber.

What is not included in the $3,500? +

Not a drag onto a technician, not a new booking, not a day-sheet email, and not live GPS. Jobber's subscription stays yours. A 6 a.m. text that sends itself is Workflow Automation at $3,500 once. The phone is the receptionist at $8,000 once.
