Tuesday’s Jobber deposit is one number on the bank line. QuickBooks still shows a pile of invoices, and the fee never arrived with the cash.

Match Jobber payout in QuickBooks is that split, not a new accounting department. Workflow Automation is $3,500 once, live in 7 to 10 days. You own the runbook. I do not bill a subscription.

Short answer: To match Jobber payout in QuickBooks, group the invoices and quote deposits inside one paid payout so the deposit equals the bank lump after fees. Workflow Automation is $3,500 once for that single match. Turn on Jobber’s own payout sync first if your plan includes it. If that sync already equals the bank line, do not pay me. This is not the invoice chase, and it is not booking a job from chat.

What does match Jobber payout in QuickBooks actually mean?

Match Jobber payout in QuickBooks means one paid payout becomes one QuickBooks deposit. The invoices in that batch, minus the fees Jobber already took, equal the lump that hit the bank. A person sees it only when the total does not tie.

Jobber takes the processing fee out before the money leaves. Jobber’s payout sync article, updated September 24, 2026, says a payout is flagged once its status is Paid. Payments sit in Undeposited Funds or Unapplied Funds until that payout syncs, then move to the Checking account you mapped. Fees land in a Jobber Payments Fees account.

Match a standard payout. An instant payout can land in under 30 minutes, is not tied to specific payments, and waits for the next standard payout, which also posts the extra 1% fee.

If payout sync is off, the full payment sits in Undeposited Funds and the bank line is short by the fees. Jobber’s reconcile note is that path: someone types a fee adjustment. That weekly adjustment is the job. Intuit uses Undeposited Funds to combine payments into the one deposit the bank recorded. Rebuilding it by hand is the leak.

What does it cost to match Jobber payout in QuickBooks?

Workflow Automation is $3,500 once for one Jobber Payments account and one QuickBooks company. Payout sync is already inside Connect and up. Connect for one user is $99 a month billed annually. Pay me only when a person still splits the lump.

Jobber’s pricing page lists Connect at $99 a month billed annually for one user, in USD. Extra users are $29 a month. Connect includes QuickBooks Online sync. Core, from $29 a month billed annually, does not. I am not selling you a Jobber plan.

The same $3,500 is on the Workflow Automation price. A second Jobber account, a second QuickBooks company, or the invoice chase is a second quote. The wider paste across the close is bookkeeping automation.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics put the May 2024 median for bookkeeping clerks at $23.66 an hour. Two hours a week is about $4,921 over 24 months. One hour a week is about $2,461 over 24 months, which does not clear $3,500. Intuit lists Simple Start at $38 a month. That subscription does not group the payout.

How does the payout match actually run?

The path is a paid payout or the matching bank line, one deposit that ties to those invoices, and a ping only when the lump does not equal gross minus fees. It does not decide a refund or send a customer a reminder.

  1. Trigger. A Jobber Payments payout whose status is Paid, or the bank-feed line for that date and amount.
  2. Action. Group the invoice payments and quote deposits on that payout. Subtract the fees Jobber already removed. Write one QuickBooks deposit that equals the bank lump.
  3. System of record. The checking account the bookkeeper already reconciles. Jobber stays the list of which payments were in the batch.
  4. Human escalation. A negative payout, a dispute, an instant payout with no invoice list, or a total that does not tie. I stop and ping you. I do not guess the credit.

A negative payout syncs as a journal entry, because QuickBooks will not take a deposit under $0. Write that rule before I touch it.

Booking from ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok is a different buy. That doorway is AI Front Door. One connection reaches the tools you already run, and the same setup works in Claude, Grok, and other AI apps that support MCP connectors, the open standard those apps use to reach a business’s tools. Desk is $7,500 once. A payout match will not hold Thursday at 2. Unpaid invoices are invoice follow-up, a separate $3,500.

What does the $3,500 not include?

The $3,500 covers one Jobber Payments account, one QuickBooks company, the deposit map you signed, a stop rule, and a runbook you own. Tax, payroll, tips, disputes, and a second company stay outside that fee.

Jobber and QuickBooks stay on your bill. I will not file a return, build a chart of accounts, or rewrite last month.

When this isn’t the right move yet

Wait if the payout already shows in sync and the bank line matches, if you have not turned payout sync on, or if the match takes about an hour a week. The $3,500 is for the split a person still does after the setting is on.

Skip it on Core until QuickBooks sync is on the plan, then watch one payout. Skip it when you want this match, the invoice chase, and the Friday pack in one fee. Skip it when disputes are the whole week and the rule is not written. Missed calls are the receptionist, not this deposit.

What should be on paper before you pay?

Write one Jobber account, one QuickBooks company, the deposit map, and one stop rule before you pay. A blank card means I will not take the $3,500, and I will not invent the match.

FAQ

How much does it cost to match a Jobber payout in QuickBooks? +

Workflow Automation is $3,500 once for one Jobber Payments account and one QuickBooks company. The job groups the invoices in a paid payout into the bank lump and records the fee Jobber already took. You own the runbook. I do not add a subscription. Jobber's own payout sync, on Connect and up, is the first thing to turn on.

Does the bank deposit include Jobber's processing fee? +

No. Jobber's help says fees come out of each payment before the deposit, and an instant payout adds 1% of the withdrawal. The bank lump is net. The match records that fee in QuickBooks. It does not ask Jobber to put the fee back, and it does not change your processing rate.

What is not included for $3,500? +

The fee is one Jobber Payments account, one QuickBooks company, the deposit map you signed, and a stop when the total does not tie. It is not tax, payroll, tips, disputes, or a second company. Your Jobber and QuickBooks bills stay yours. Booking a job from ChatGPT or Claude is AI Front Door, not this match.

When should I not buy the payout match yet? +

Wait when the payout already shows in sync and the bank line matches, or when you have not turned payout sync on. Also wait if the match is about an hour a week. At the May 2024 clerk median of $23.66 an hour, one hour a week is about $2,461 over 24 months, under $3,500.
