Contact Form Not Sending Emails: Inbox Stays Empty
Contact form not sending emails while the page still says sent. Check spam and the address on the form. I look after the site from $99 a month.

The thank-you line is not a receipt. A contact form not sending emails can still tell the visitor the note went out, while the inbox you work from stays empty. The site looks open. The inquiries do not arrive.
Short answer: A contact form not sending emails still shows a thank-you line when the page accepted the click. Send one test, check spam, and confirm the destination is an inbox you open. Managed Website Hosting & Care includes a fix when something breaks on my watch, from $99 a month.
Why is my contact form not sending emails?
A contact form not sending emails can still print a success line. That line means the page took the click, not that an inbox you open got the note. Check spam, then the address on the form. A break on my watch is included, from $99 a month.
Say you run a bakery. Someone asks about a cake. The form thanks them. You hear nothing.
Two causes you can see yourself. The notify address is wrong, old, or an inbox nobody opens. Or the note landed in spam. The third cause is quieter. The page recorded a success, and the note never left for mail. Every inbox you can open stays empty.
If the site is WordPress, open the form and read the address it notifies. The footer address is often a different one. Squarespace and Wix keep that setting inside the form, not in the sentence on the page.
One test from you, and one from someone else, is enough.
What should I check before I pay anyone?
Send one test and read every inbox the form might use, including spam and any old staff address. If the page says sent and those inboxes stay empty, you are not having a slow week. The form failed. You can confirm that before you pay anyone to look.
Walk the checks in this order.
- Submit once from a personal address.
- Check the inbox and spam.
- Write down the notify address in the form settings.
- If that address belongs to an old developer or a former employee, see whether you can open it.
- If you cannot log in, stop. A wrong mail change can take the business inbox down with the pages.
The free who hosts my website lookup names the email provider, the host, the registrar, and the domain expiry date. Use it when the form writes to an address on your domain. Keep a screenshot of the success line. That is what I need with the notify address.
Can the site look fine while inquiries never arrive?
The pages can load and the form can still fail. Visitors see a normal site and a success line. You see an empty inbox. That is not the same as the site being down. Write down the success line, the address you expected, and which inboxes you already checked.
A full-page outage is a different job. If visitors cannot load the site, start with the checks on website down. Here the pages load, and the button still produces no message.
I monitor uptime around the clock. That watch is whether the site loads. It does not read your inbox. On Essentials and Business, an outage goes to the front of the line during business hours. Priority gets 24/7 response if the site goes down.
Email the link and the screenshot to michael@michaelheredia.com. A small change, such as the form address, uses the monthly time.
How do the plans handle a form that stopped sending?
If the form breaks while I look after the site, the fix is included. Changing the destination address is a small change: it uses the monthly minutes first, then $125 an hour, and I tell you before going over. Plans start at $99 a month. You can cancel any time.
A form that used to send, then stops after I am looking after the site, is a fix on my watch. Changing the notify address is a small change. Monthly time comes first: 30 minutes on Essentials, 1 hour on Business, 3 hours on Priority. Unused time does not roll over. Essentials includes a reply within 2 business days.
Every plan also includes hosting and SSL, daily backups stored separately from the site, core, plugin, and theme updates, uptime monitoring around the clock, and security hardening (locked-down logins, firewall rules, and safe defaults). Business and Priority test updates on a staging copy before they go live. Malware cleanup is $125 an hour on Essentials and included on Business and Priority.
You can keep your current hosting. Same plans, same price. Your host keeps billing you for hosting. I keep a daily backup stored separately. Priority’s dedicated server applies only when I host. You do not manage a server login or a control panel. You keep the domain and the content, and you can ask for a complete copy any time.
Moving one standard site in is included. I copy it, test it, then switch the domain at a quiet time. A large online store or a custom app gets a fixed quote first. Plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel any time. The plan runs to the end of the paid month. Before it ends, you get a full copy and help pointing the domain to a new host.
Which plan fits if the form is how you get work?
Essentials is $99 a month: 30 minutes of changes and a reply within 2 business days. Business is $249 a month: 1 hour, and updates tested on a staging copy. Priority is $499 a month: 3 hours, a dedicated server, and 24/7 response if the site goes down.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $99 a month | Hosting, SSL, daily backups, updates, monitoring, 30 minutes of changes, a reply within 2 business days. Malware cleanup is $125 an hour. Fixes and restores are included. |
| Business (most popular) | $249 a month | Everything in Essentials, 1 hour of changes, updates tested on a staging copy before they go live, malware cleanup included. |
| Priority | $499 a month | Everything in Business, 3 hours of changes, a dedicated server, 24/7 response if the site goes down. |
All three cost the same if I host or if I look after the site on the host you already pay. “Most popular” is only the label on Business. See the plans.
When this isn’t the right fit
Skip the plan if you need a redesign, a new feature, an online store, or an integration first. I quote that work at a fixed price before it starts. Skip it too if someone on your staff already handles updates, backups, and the small edits, including the form address.
If the pages themselves are the problem, start with web development.
Pick a plan on the plans page, or send a question through the hosting form. Checkout takes a couple of minutes. I email you within 1 business day to start.
